Abstract

Carbon dots (CDs) are new elementary materials, which can be divided into graphene quantum dots (GQDs), carbon quantum dots (CQDs), and carbonized polymer dots (CPDs). For CPDs, rich optical properties can be obtained by adjusting precursor and synthesis conditions. More details are discussed in the article by Yang et al. on page 2206—2216.image
