Abstract

This paper deals with finite dimensional control for infinite dimensional flexible space structures with uncertain physical parameters. The main point is that a simple controller, which makes a flexible space structure of high stable degree, can be obtained by use of only the input-output property instead of the poles-zeros property of the structure. It is shown that a model of convergency in input-output sense could be constructed for control. It is further shown that a finite dimensional controller could be given based on the model, which is able to stabilize a flexible space structure with high stable degree
