Abstract

A prenatal diagnosis of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) can be devastating to a family expecting a normal, healthy newborn. However, significant medical advances in the post natal management of patients with CDH have led to a remarkable decline in infant mortality. This case presentation will discuss an infant prenatally diagnosed with an extremely rare form of CDH and the innovative treatment that was responsible for saving her life.
