Abstract
The amount of information that police officers come into contact with in the course of their work is astounding. The purpose of this paper is to link police knowledge to information systems. First, knowledge in police work is discussed. Next, information systems in police knowledge management are discussed within the framework of the stages of growth model for knowledge management technology.
