Abstract

Abstract—This paper considers the problem and thematic structure of the database on archaeology created at Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences (INION) of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The specifics of analytical and synthetic processing of documents and queries on the basis of a complex of linguistic means of the Automated Information System on Social Sciences (AISON) are revealed. The features of interdisciplinary search of archaeological information in related branch databases are analyzed. The results of introducing digital technologies for collection, processing and distribution of archaeological data are described.
