Abstract

Influenza vaccination is currently recommended for routine use among individuals older than 6 months.1 However, certain populations are highlighted in the recommendations, as they are at a higher risk for influenza and its complications, making immunization even more important. For patients on oral anticoagulants, the indication for these medications will often place patients in the higher risk category for influenza vaccine administration.
