Abstract
The difficult relationship between Russia and the United States is a natural phenomenon, the result of a conscious policy of the US administration aimed at establishing American dominance in the post-war world and the ever-increasing revenge-seeking policies of the Russian ruling elite. This article is designed to assess the impact of the US-Russia relationship on Kazakhstan’s politics and economy at the present stage, after the deterioration of relations in the framework of the weakening of US hegemony in the world arena and its futile attempts to maintain its sphere of influence.
