Abstract

Objective To know the influence of two kinds of puncture methods on early application of atteriovenou internal fistula for patients with hemodialysis. Methods Divided 42 patients with hemodialysis into the experimental group and the control group randomly, there were 21 cases in the each group. Directed puncture was used in the experimental group, while the opposite puncture was used in the control group, com-pared the first successful rate of puncture, incidence rate of ecchymosis and the incidence rate of internal fistu-la- associated complications between the two groups. Results The first successful rate of puncture in the ex-perimental group was higher than in the control group, the incidence rate of ecchymosis and tile incidence rate of internal fistula-associated complications was significant higher in the control gorup than that in the experi-mental group respectively. Conclusions For patients with dialysis, it is suitable to select internal fistula ulnar vein and basilic vein as artery exit for centripetal puncture during the early period of arteriovenous fistula.
