Abstract
(Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+x high critical temperature superconductive oxide have been synthesised and densified into bulk and textured ceramics by a sinter-forging process. Three point bending tests were carried out, both at room temperature (manipulation temperature) and at 77 K (application temperature), to investigate the mechanical characteristics of such ceramics, relatively to their coarse microstructure and structural anisotropy.
