Abstract

Physiological studies on the influence of temperature on the respiration rate oi pre-zoeal and first zoeal stages oi Pachygrapsus crassipes demonstrate an increase in oxygen consumption with increasing temperature and suggest the possibility oi ontogenetic phenotypic compensations.
