Abstract
Acidity of synthetic (NH4)0.98Na0.02−MOR samples pretreated at different temperatures has been characterized by differential adsorption heat distribution of ammonia. A fairly good correlation has been found between the number of acid sites of different strengths formed at increasing temperatures, and the catalytic activity and selectivity for xylene isomerization and disproportionation.
