Abstract
This study examined the influence of parents\' occupation, gender and school location on vocational interest among students. The population of the study consisted of senior secondary II students. Three hundred and four (304) SSII students were selected through stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was Abubakar (1998) Career Choice Questionnaire. Chi Square was used as statistical tool for data analysis. The findings revealed that there were significant differences between parents\' occupation and students\' vocational interest well as between students\' vocational interest based on gender and school location.
