Abstract
Defective regulation of arachidonic acid has been hypothesized to be a basic defect in Cystic Fibrosis(CF). In order to demonstrate the role of intravenous fatty acid supplementation on Cl− transport in CF patients, we studied the influence of intralipid 20% (Kabivitrum) infusion 12 hours 10 ml/Kg, on measurement of electrical potential difference (PD) across nasal epithelia.
