Patient's course of disease, caregiver's gender, whether to live with patients, attitude to patients' disease and filial piety were the influencing factors of care burden (P<0.05) . Conclusions It is suggested that more attention should be paid to the burden of caregivers of patients with chronic heart failure and interventions should be taken to improve their filial piety values so as to reduce their burden of care.
