Abstract
Recent studies demonstrated that progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) over a 1-year period is associated with a substantially increased risk of mortality. Cystatin C has emerged as a reliable marker of kidney function. In this study, we evaluated the factors associated with increase in cystatin C over a 1-year period in patients with cardiovascular disease.
