Abstract
We define the concept of induced cells for affine Weyl groups which is compatible with the concept of induced unipotent classes under Lusztigâs bijection between the set of two-sided cells of an affine Weyl group and the set of unipotent classes of a corresponding connected reductive algebraic group over ${\mathbf {C}}$.
