Abstract
BHK 21 cultured cells, incubated with phosphatidylserine vesicles, showed a significant increase of the phosphatidylserine content in the plasma membrane. At the same time the membrane-bound Mg2+ dependent, Na+/K+ activated ATPase activity was increased by 85%. The cellular viability was not affected by the phosphatidylserine incorporation.
