Abstract

We report on in situ preparation of high-Tc TlBaCaCuO thin films by a combination of laser ablation and thermal evaporation. The films were prepared on MgO〈100〉 substrates and had zero resistance at 110 K. They had polycrystalline structure with grain size of about 1 μm. The critical current density at 77 K was about 0.6×105 A/cm2.
