Abstract

How does in-class United Nations simulation enhance the global education of community college students? Drawing upon the internationalization of curriculum experience in rural community college settings, it describes the rubrics of active learning for global awareness through the in-class role modeling approach. Pre simulation learning activities and post simulation debriefing equally constitute part of the active learning process. The in-class simulations are cost effective, focused, and effective instruments for introductory global education.
