Abstract

The article analyzes the problem of energy saving in the context of organizational and technical measures. One of the energy saving factors is the use of waste heat of various potential. The advantages of using waste heat in the energy sector and the scope of their application are considered. Power plants for waste processing and their parameters are described. Examples of the creation of special energy devices for the chemical industry are given. The connection of internal (by-product) energy resources (IER) with technologies using melting furnaces is noted. The boundaries of the use of heat recovery boilers (HRB) in various industries are determined. The schemes of HRB application at the wastewater disposal site with quantitative and qualitative characteristics are given. A method for improving economizers using bimetallic pipes and heat exchangers is given. The use of batteries in the disposal and consumption of waste heat is justified. The ways of increasing the efficiency of compressed air systems and the features of using arc steelmaking furnaces to reduce energy consumption are considered. The comparison of local heat supply schemes with regenerative ones is carried out and the prospects for the development of these schemes are noted.
