Abstract
The decree of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the USSR Council of Ministers On Improving Planning and Strengthening the Influence of the Economic Mechanism on Raising the Effectiveness of Production and Improving the Quality of Work, which was adopted in accordance with the strategies of the Twenty-fourth and Twenty-fifth party congresses, has been an important step forward in the realization of the party's policy of developing a system of national economic planning and management that reflects the objective features of the economy of developed socialism.
