Abstract

Approaches to increasing machining precision are analyzed. Formulas are derived for the margin removal in the grinding of parts with a wear-resistant coating (reconditioned parts). Improvement in machining efficiency by decreasing the elastic displacement in the machining system is considered. As is established, the machining efficiency may be increased by deep grinding using the wheel periphery at low speeds.
