Abstract

Usage of fossil fuel in the area of transportation and energy sector leads various environmental effects that demolish the quality of nature. One side the fossil fuels starts to exhaust and other side it affects the environment at its extent. The environmental effects by fossil fuel are combustion of the same in energy sector and in transportation sector plays a major part worldwide. To fix all those effects by a particular stage of fossil fuel, an alternate energy source has been chosen. The work deals with the same and it particularly handles the transportation sector. Transportation sector utilizes the fossil fuels for the combustion engines, various poisonous gases released after the combustion which influences the earth into odd way should be stopped immediately to protect the earth. In such case an electric vehicle is introduced all over the world in replacement for the combustion vehicle and that has been initiated and started developing at its way. People too started to opt electric vehicle for their transportation. In such case, charging of electric vehicle becomes the barrier for choosing the electric vehicle for some circle of society and the charging time is also becomes a challenging. Major researches were moving over the same. Our work deals with the initiation of renewable energy sources for the energizing the vehicle by itself. So the hybrid system has been developed which includes solar and wind energy system to supply the source of energy for the same. Wind energy is the clean and sustainable energy that has been utilized for various purposes like energy generation, transportation, pumping, etc., Likewise, solar energy is also one of the best and well suited energy source that play a very important role in the energy sector and the transportation sector, where both has been incorporated in this work for electric vehicle for the purpose of effective and finest charging where, the vehicle does not search for the charging station. This hybrid model of energy sources has been implemented in the electric vehicle and it has been tested with a prototype. Before the implementation, the hybrid model has been simulated and tested for its efficacy in MATLAB. As expected, it works at its finest.
