Abstract

The article presents one of the possible solutions to the problem of controlling the movement of raw materials in the warehouse of an industrial enterprise. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to improve the management of material and information flows of the enterprise. One of the important directions is to increase the efficiency of operations management in the warehouse of an industrial enterprise. The solution to the problem is proposed by designing an automated information system for monitoring the receipt and movement of raw materials in the warehouse, which will allow you to monitor the process of receiving and storing raw materials, store and analyze data for any period of time, and search for the necessary information according to various selection criteria. The article substantiates the relevance of creating and implementing an automated information system in the activities of enterprises in order to increase their competitiveness. The introduction of an automated information system will provide an opportunity to reduce management costs by freeing up human resources and maintaining operational records of business transactions. Considering the possibility of integrating modules of ready-made solutions for the introduction of an automated raw material accounting system at an enterprise, the authors carried out a comparative analysis of some workflow automation systems. The study is based on a general scientific methodology, which provides for the application of a systematic approach to solving problems of improving the manageability of an enterprise. In this regard, the methodologies of structural and object-oriented approaches to the analysis, design and implementation of design solutions were used as research methods. The authors in the paper presented in detail a description of the key modules of the automated system for controlling the movement of raw materials in the warehouse. The results of the study can be used to develop recommendations for improving the activities of the warehouse of a manufacturing enterprise.
