Abstract

In-person rotations were restricted in medical schools due to the pandemic. This led to the development of virtual clerkships in radiation oncology (RO). Virtual electives allowed medical students to obtain exposure to RO through a combination of asynchronous lectures, hands-on learning, and synchronous education. We sought to analyze the impact and feasibility of implementing RO education into multi-institutional virtual clerkships.
