Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of the chapter it to explore the possibilities of using technology of distributed registries (blockchain) and smart-contracts in public procurement for state and municipal needs. Advantages of blockchain technology and smart contracts, ways to overcome existing ones law enforcement issues in this sphere are analyzed. Also the purpose of the research is to assess the prospects for introducing blockchain technology and smart contracts into public law-enforcement practice, taking into account foreign experience and doctrinal studies in this sphere.
