Abstract

The article presents the first experience of implantation of the Russian transcatheter prosthesis "MedLab-KT" in the tricuspid position. The procedure was performed on a high-risk patient with a history of five open surgical interventions for Ebstein's anomaly with developed dysfunction of a previously implanted biological prosthesis. Implantation was carried out by transatrial valve-in-valve technique to the position of a biological prosthesis. The postoperative period was uneventful. The presented clinical case showed to the effectiveness and safety of the transcatheter PTFE prosthesis "MedLab-KT" during valve-in-valve implantation in case of dysfunction of the biological prosthesis in the tricuspid position.Received 10 October 2021.
