Abstract

AbstractThis paper proposes a model to study and analyze the sustainability of the impacts of replenishment practices. Ten sustainability indicators have been selected to characterize the sustainability performance. Two replenishment strategies (individual and joint) and three replenishment rules are studied. A mathematical model is developed to measure sustainability performance. The model is applied on a single-supplier, multi-distributor supply chain for a single product to comparatively assess the two strategies.
