Abstract
Nowadays, the solar power systems are quickly developing in many countries to replace the fossil power sources and mitigate the environment pollution. The working efficiency of the power conditioner system in the solar power system is not high because the energy supply from solar array depends on the weather. The utilization rate of the power conditioner system can be increased by supplementing the small wind turbine to the existent grid-tied solar power system with the support of the control system to imitate characteristic of the solar panel. In this research, we analyze the power converter circuit of the photovoltaic (PV) cell emulating system and present study results of operation of this system in series connection mode under the different levels of solar irradiation.
