Abstract

The kinetic patterns of the reaction of urethane formation have been studied in presence of a tin-containing polymeric catalyst based on the copolymer of maleic anhydride with styrene and its low molecular weight analogues. The high catalytic activity of the polymeric catalyst is linked with the limitation of transfer of the catalytic centres to inactive hetero-associates and the possibility of the realization of new ways of formation of the reaction product not manifest with use of mononuclear low molecular weight catalysts.
