Abstract

Space targets of orbit movement are usually accompanied with high speed spin and other micro motions. This kind of targets echos has the characteristic of similar with sinusoidal periodic modulation, the traditional imaging methods would no longer be applicable. For space targets such as satellite and missile which have orbit movement and rapidly spinning, a new imaging method is proposed in this paper. According to the estimated spin period, the method constructed a resampling model, then the spin effect is eliminated by resampling of the target echo. Finally, the high resolution 2D image is obtained by using the compressed sensing technique. At the same time, this paper also improves the robustness of the algorithm by improving the standard Fourier basis. Simulation experiments show that the proposed method not only can improve the imaging quality and reduce the Coherent Processing Interval(CPI) needed for imaging, but also can improve azimuth resolution.
