Abstract
A case illustrative of an unusual cause of swelling in the iliopsoas region has been cited. The lesion, which arose from the iliopsoas bursa, communicated with the hip joint and produced a tumor beneath the inguinal ligament. The differential diagnosis of swelling in the ilioinguinal region has been presented.
