Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan guru dalam menyelesaikan soal fungsi invers berdasarkan analisis Newman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini ialah dua guru matematika SMP dan seorang guru matematika SMA. Data penelitian ini berupa hasil tes dan wawancara secara online. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dalam analisis kesalahan Newman dalam menyelesaikan fungsi invers. Kesalahan yang dialami oleh guru dalam menyelesaikan soal fungsi invers 1) kesalahan membaca, seperti kesalahan dalam membaca kata, notasi, symbol dan informasi dalam soal; 2) kesalahan memahami, seperti kesalahan dalam mengolah informasi dalam soal; dan 3) kesalahan transformasi, berupa kesalahan dalam mengubah soal ke dalam model matematika.
