Abstract
We report the recognition of male and female teeth samples using Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technique. A multivariate method, principal component analysis (PCA) has been employed for discrimination. Our results have demonstrated an excellent separation between the samples even though it has a similar chemical composition. These findings will show an immediate impact in the field of archeology and forensic science application.
