Abstract
Introduction: Gallbladder cancer (GBC) is an aggressive cancer characterized by late diagnosis, poor treatment response and a dismal prognosis. Molecular changes are known to be associated with GBC and may provide insight into its progression, however, there is a paucity of this information globally, but even more so, in Africa.
