Abstract

Primary headache disorders are among the most common central nervous system disorders accounting for 98% of all headaches. There exists a large unmet need for non-invasive non-pharmacological treatments for patients who have contraindications to or have failed standard therapy. Over the past two decades non-invasive neuromodulation devices with varying mechanisms have been developed to address this need, but little information is available comparing wearable therapeutic regimens. As such, we sought to explore the current landscape of FDA-approved or FDA-cleared neuromodulation devices.
