Abstract

Spinal cord stimulation (SCS) evoked compound action potentials (ECAPs) represent a promising method of quantifying and adjusting effectiveness of stimulation for the treatment of chronic pain. Quantification of ECAPs require a robust data analysis pipeline including artifact removal, feature extraction and classification to provide an objective measurement. Inappropriate quantification of ECAPs could result in misleading of stimulation adjustments and loss of therapy.
