Abstract

Bi2S3/Reduced graphene oxide (RGO) composite were synthesized by a low-cost hydrothermal method and utilized in a low-cost, Pt-free dye-sensitized solar cells. the structure properties of the Bi2S3 were extensively characterized using X-ray diffraction measurement, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Electrochemical analysis reveals that the RGO addition into Bi2S3 resulted in reduced charge transfer resistance and improved catalytic activity. The RGO addition into Bi2S3 resulted in DSSC power conversion efficiency from 1.96% to 4.78%
