Abstract

Abstract Hydrogen gas diffusion electrodes were prepared from porous carbon spheres dispersed with Pd–Ag alloy nanoparticles with various Pd/Ag ratios. The performance of the electrodes evaluated by observing the polarization characteristics in the electro-oxidation of hydrogen markedly depended on the ratio of Pd and Ag in the alloy.
