Abstract
This article discusses Dr Yusuf Al-Qaradhawi's views on the relationship betweenreligion and the state in the context of Muslim societies. Al-Qaradhawi is an Islamic scholarwho has had a major influence on contemporary Islamic thought, particularly on issues relatedto politics and Islamic law. This article presents Al-Qaradhawi's understanding of key conceptssuch as sharia, democracy, human rights, and the role of religion in the political order. It alsoexamines Al-Qaradhawi's views on how religion and the state can interact in a pluralistic andmodern society. This research outlines the impact of Al-Qaradhawi's thought in the context ofpolitical development in the Islamic world and its relevance in facing current social and politicalchallenges.
