Abstract
“Voprosy Istorii” history journal presents documents within our Chronicle of the Great Victory (19411945). The current issue contains documents related to the situation on the Southwestern Front on June 22,1941. This is the operational summary No. 01 on the situation at 22:00. It was signed by the Chief of Staff of the Southwestern Front, Lieutenant General M.A. Purkaev and the head of the operational department of the Southwestern Front, Major General I.Kh. Bagramyan. The second document is an operational summary of the Air Force Headquarters on the situation in the area of responsibility of the Air Force Command. It was signed by the Chief of Staff of the Front Air Force, Colonel N.A. Tygrebert and the head of the operational department of the Front Air Force Headquarters, Major S.A. Vladimirov. The documents are contained in Central Archive of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
