Abstract

In this chapter, the author emphasizes the importance of the seven dimensions of leadership intelligence that build successful and authentic leadership alliances: physical intelligence, emotional intelligence, pragmatic intelligence, communication intelligence, heart intelligence, neuroscience intelligence, and consciousness intelligence. He shares his experience of coaching Paul, the CEO of a large industrial company. In Paul's case, the physical and pragmatic intelligence dimensions were very strong. However, he was not using the resources available in the dimensions of his emotional and communication intelligence in order to be more accessible to the people around him. The coaching process would enable Paul to access these resources and tap into them in an authentic way. The author explains how he helped Paul to become more accessible to his coworkers. Here are some questions based on the Seven Dimensions of Leadership Intelligence, which can support the readers in staying connected to the Authentic Leader in them.
