Abstract

Horner's syndrome is characterized by ptosis, ipsilateral miosis, anhidrosis and occasionally apparent enophthalmos. Amongst the diverse neoplastic and non-neoplastic causes of acquired Horner's in children, thyroid disease is rare. We present a case in which Horner's syndrome was a consequence of the mass effect from a substantially sized goiter due to Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
