Abstract

This letter to the editor provides information regarding a cross-sectional study conducted in Thailand during April-May 2009 that included standaradized structured questionnaires covering subjective treatment effects general health disclosure about HIV status and risk behavior as well as in-depth interviews about living with HIV. It found that the Government of Thailand has been successful in getting hold of HIV-infected individuals and providing ART but the program does not meet the need for social support the challenge that remains is to help the patients in finding a way back to normal life.
