Abstract
Recently hydrogen substituted CaFeAsF1−xHx and SmFeAsO1−xHx have been successfully synthesized. Hydrogen atoms are incorporated as H− ions at the F− sites. However, H substitution for non-superconducting CaFeAsF does not induce superconductivity because of isovalent substitution. Since CaFeAsF is known to exhibit superconductivity under high pressure, electrical resistivity and X-ray diffraction measurements have been carried out for CaFeAsH under high pressure in order to study the superconductivity for the material having Ca–H layer. Electrical resistivity measurements also have been done for SmFeAsO1−xHx from under-doped to over-doped region (x=0.5).
