Abstract
We report on the development of a high-peak-power, single-longitudinal-mode and tunable terahertz-wave parametric generation and detection using frequency conversion in a nonlinear MgO:LiNbO <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</sub> crystal at room temperature. The small footprint size is suitable for a variety of applications.
