Abstract

Aiming at the leakage problem of the traditional incident plane wave introduced to the high-order finite-difference time-domain scheme, a method was presented to introduce versatile Split-Field 1-D Propagator into the high-order time-domain difference scheme. On the original basis of the conservative high-order Modified FDTD (2,4) scheme (CM24), the traditional one-dimensional incident plane wave was improved by introducing the versatile Split-Field 1-D Propagator (VS-FP). Compared with the traditional one-dimensional incident plane wave, the introducing of this incident plane wave fundamentally eliminates the errors caused by linear interpolation on the one-dimensional incident plane wave when it is loaded to the three-dimensional calculation Domain. The results show that the improved high-order scheme has less than -305dB leakage in the scattered region.
