Abstract
A new method of iron recovery and continuous steel production with in-line vacuuming is described. Constructive solutions for refractory fencing are proposed, as well as the evaluation and selection of materials for the multilayer lining of the proposed installation. Technical solutions have been selected to extend the service life of high-temperature fencing using water-cooled panels that ensure the formation of a garnish. Numerical modeling of the process of the growth of the garnish layer is carried out.
