Abstract

Abstract A single inductor dual output DC-DC converter operating in CCM mode is proposed in this paper. Due to the more accuracy and complete small-signal model in Simulink and the dedicatedly designed compensation parameters, the circuit can broaden the load range of the converter through fast response and reduce the cross-talk effects between output branches during load adjustment. The converter is implemented in TSMC 0.18μm 1P6M BCD process with a chip area of 1.7mm*1.8mm. The simulation results show that the converter has a conversion efficiency of 81.3% at a maximum output power of 5W and the cross-regulation of less than 36mV/A at 1A load regulation.
