Abstract

Aiming at the problem of non-convergence and difficult convergence of power flow calculation results in the actual planning of new power systems containing new energy and large-scale HVDC, a high convergence power flow algorithm for new energy and power system is proposed in this paper. Firstly, we build a mathematical model for the power system with new energy. Secondly, the dual interior point method is used to solve the minimum power flow model, and a bunch of relaxation variables are added to the model to ensure the solution of the power flow calculation. Then, the reactive power deviation of minimizing power flow is analyzed, and its distribution concentration and deviation degree are calculated. Finally, the distribution of slack variables is modified by the comprehensive analysis results, and the nodes with reactive power adjustment ability are compensated for reactive power, which effectively improves the convergence of power flow. We use the minimum power flow and PSD power system analysis software to calculate, and the results show that the proposed method can improve the convergence of power flow and provide a new means for the adjustment of non-convergence power flow mode.
